Welcome to Tadstock 2018. We are proud to announce our annual festival, together with CCP & Studio340.
Our festival aims to provide a safe & supportive space for young and aspiring musicians, who want the chance to showcase their musical ability.
We do this by creating a relaxed and friendly space, which welcomes people from all walks of life, including friends, families & music lovers.
In the past we have had some really amazing young musicians play at our festival, and we aim to keep discovering new talent every year!
Respecting the environment is important to us. All the energy we use comes from renewable sources and we recycle all the waste we can!
Tadstock is a not-for-profit community interest company.
Our mission is to transform lives through music. We work with young people in challenging circumstances to help them reach their full potential in music, education, and life. Many young people miss out on making music – especially those who could benefit the most, and we want to put that right. Our aim is to engage the people we help through music, and build their confidence and motivation. All of the work we do empowers our young musicians to improve their life chances.
Studio340 is a creative arts venue, based in Cheltenham. We are here to help you build your musical talent, with the help of our recording studio, rehearsal & events spaces. Our industry professionals will be there to help you every step of the way, all for an affordable price.
CCP is a charity that aims to transform the lives of children, young people, families and vulnerable adults. We seek to prevent homelessness, support families and promote independence. With a head office in Cheltenham, we currently have 90 staff members. Our 190 volunteers are currently providing services in Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, Wiltshire and Dorset.
Stars of Tadstock
Julian Mika - Main Stage Act
"I really enjoyed my time playing at Tadstock festival. Not only because the set up was great and the energy of the whole festival was beautiful. It was great to see so many young up and coming artists. Artists who share a similar dream performing on stage, with a passion that was so evident. It was inspiring for me personally and I believe it was for everyone else who was there. Better the stage then the streets!"
Griz-O - Community Stage Act
"I enjoyed Tadstock because it was a friendly environment with some artists/organisers I’m already familiar with. Tadstock is the first festival I’ve done so I didn’t know what to expect but it was a good experience! Additionally, the community stage setup which I performed on was a cool space. The tent made it more intimate so it was easier to see the crowd reactions etc."
Jordan Blackmore - Studio340 Volunteer
"Tadstock was enjoyable for me because it was the first time I got to properly work at a festival. I mainly do studio work and rarely get to experience the other side of music, which is the live side! I also met the live sound engineer and spoke about the differences between live sound and studio work. This was also great for me because I would love to look into live sound in the future!"
Sofia Chedas - Community Stage Act
"It was the most special experience in my life! It made me improve my confidence on stage. It also was a great experience for my family, as we’ve never been to a festival before."
